Highway of Holiness
We prayed over the prophetic word released by the intercessors during a time of prayer in BCW – that two winds were coming again to the church. The wind of holiness unto the Lord and the wind of His kingdom come. The first wind will blow away everything that is not of His and cause a shaking, which may cause the undiscerning to think that it is from the enemy. But a deep work is needed in the church before she can carry the second wind of His power, in which He will pour out His spirit and restore the fear of the Lord in the land. One person prayed that Wales would embrace the wind that is coming, and would no longer be desolate and barren, but that the Lord would move again in a powerful way. Another person sung a song unto the Lord – that there is a highway of holiness, and that the Lord is calling the church to go on this highway.
Isaiah 35: 8-10,
“A highway shall be there, and a road,
And it shall be called the Highway of Holiness.
The unclean shall not pass over it,
But it shall be for others.
Whoever walks the road, although a fool,
Shall not go astray.
No lion shall be there,
Nor shall any ravenous beast go up on it;
It shall not be found there.
But the redeemed shall walk there,
And the ransomed of the Lord shall return,
And come to Zion with singing,
With everlasting joy on their heads.
They shall obtain joy and gladness,
And sorrow and sighing shall flee away.”
Exodus 3:1-5 was released and we prayed for the holiness of the Lord to come upon his church. We also prayed that God would meet His people, like He met Moses face to face. We cried out for Him to set the church ablaze with His holy fire and that all that was not of His would be burned away. His people would be led out of captivity, out of their “Egypt”, so they would be ready to be carriers of His power and presence. One person prayed that waves of revival would break forth in Wales again.
Another person prayed for restoration in the land of Wales and in the church – that seeds sown would flourish and that there would be no more barrenness. Two others felt the burden to pray for the next generation, and we prayed for the Lord to encounter and raise up young people who would fear the Lord and would be fully surrendered, ready to be used by Him.
I saw a picture of men and women of different ages and nationalities holding hands in a circle, being joined as one. Another person released a word that God would join the generations together, and the young and old would come alongside each other in the coming revival. God would bring a restoration of the family, with the hearts of the fathers turned to their children and the hearts of the children to the fathers (Malachi 4:6).
